I suppose a photo of me acting as though I were objecting meaningfully to portraits would be over the top? I think doing is more revealing than being or having, but it's harder to capture on film.
This is tough!--There's so many ways! It could be interesting to take a photo of someone with a meaningful expression holding or somehow incorporating an object that represents them. Although, random, un-posed shots always seem to have the most personality :)
